vivian + odel | north miami wedding

Vivian and Odel contracted me a few weeks before their wedding for our “Day Of” package.  The Ceremony, Cocktail and Reception all took place at the Spanish Monestary in North Miami Beach, Florida.

The color scheme consisted of royal blue and yellow.  They wanted an earthy look and went with mahogany chiavari chairs to add to the warmth of the venue. The centerpieces were beautiful pieces of bark wood decorated with phalenopsis and  mini yellow orchids known as yorkies.  Simple, yet beautiful.  We lined the tables with majestic royal blue linens and placed gold chargers to add an elegant touch to this warm and earthy tablescape.

It was truly a pleasure working with this couple and their families.  I worked closely with Vivian’s parents and took a special liking for them.  A wonderful couple with much love and admiration for their daughter.  Vivian and Odel are not your typical couple.  This couple enjoys hunting togehter.  They decided to greet guests with no other than a bullet shell as their escort card holder.  Definitely a conversation piece.

Vivian surprised Odel with a peek a boo wedding cake.  At the back of the cake was a deer peeking out from inside the cake.  A loving surprise for her passionate hunter.

The night was filled with great music, beautiful lighting, great food and a few Patron shots.  Family and friends danced the night away and made Vivian and Odel’s wedding a truly special evening to remember.

The vendors that made it all possible were; AB Covers, Arlene Makeup and Hair, AJ Videos, Celebrity Caterers, DJ Elvis, Florana, Jensen’s Liquors, Orlando Morales Photography, Spanish Monestary and Todo Dulces. A special thank you to my assistant Nikki for helping make dreams come true!

The photos below were taken by Nikki and I or friends of the couple.  Unfortunately, I do not have any of the professional shots to share with you.
