Stephanie + Javier | Coral Gables Wedding

the traveling couple

When I first met Stephanie and her family I felt right at home.  What an amazing family!  Her mom was hands on and ready to help in anyway she could to ensure that Stephanie and Javier’s dream wedding would become a reality.  Then I met Javier and I knew right away that they were perfect for each other.  First, they are both really tall, first time a couple makes me feel short and second because they are both wonderful, warm hearted and genuinely good human beings!!  I learned from Stephanie that she and Javier loved to travel.  They especially loved Disney as this magical place had a very special meaning for them.  We discussed incorporating something about Disney World in the wedding but after going back and forth we decided against it.

The ceremony was held at the Coral Gables Congregational Church and the cocktail and reception at the Coral Gables Country Club. As guests entered the cocktail hour they were greeted by the lovely pianist Nubia who delighted them with her sweet melodies.

Stephanie loves the color purple and wanted her wedding chic, elegant and fun.  She decided on a purple/platinum/teal color scheme with hints of fuchsia and peacock feathers.  Nevot Flowers is responsible for designing and crafting these beautiful centerpieces.  We decided to break the room up a bit and designed it to fit both square and round tables.  Gables Linens manufactured the fortuny platinum color linens that lined all the guest tables and provided us with the silver chiavari chairs and beautiful chargers and napkins.  We had a special treat for the special couple and this was that their charger plates were made entirely of crystals for the added elegance to their sweetheart table.  Chic and beautiful white lounge furniture was provided by KI Rentals.

The room was beautifully lit by DJ Connection and as always they rocked the house with their music, entertainment and a fun Hora Loca!  The man responsible for these beautiful images is no other than Alex Fagundo from Echo Soul Studios. He also provided a fun and innovative photo booth for the guests to enjoy!  Cinematography was provided by A & A Video Productions.  Stephanie and Javier were able to see the room before their guests arrived and this created an opportunity for both photographer and videographer to capture their expressions as they entered the room for the first time.  The beautiful and yummy cake was crafted by Todo Dulce and what better way to eat cake than with a delish cup of gourmet coffee from Aroma Espresso who delighted the guests with their assorted coffees and cappuccinos.  As the guests departed they were sent off with a delicious two pack of Krispy Kreme donuts.  What a sweet way to end a fabulous wedding.

A huge shout out to all the vendors who made Stephanie and Javier’s dream wedding a reality!!
