olivia + anthony | coral gables wedding

Olivia and Anthony had a very early start the morning of their wedding.  Olivia had a yoga class for all of her guests staying at the hotel and Anthony went for a run.  Shortly after their morning routine they both had breakfast and went to get pampered and ready for their special day.

A beautiful ceremony took place at Plymouth Congregational Church followed by a beautiful outdoor cocktail reception at the Biltmore’s Country Club Courtyard.  As guests arrived they were asked to light a candle and take their escort card attached to their individual candle holder.  Polaroid cameras were available for guests to take pictures and hang on the majestic manzanita tree displaying their well wishes for the bride and groom.

It was a chilly night and the ladies were presented with beautiful pashminas to keep them warm.  As the guests entered the Country Club’s ballroom for dinner and dancing they were greeted by several surprises.  The first was none other than Shakira’s drummer Archie Peña directing a group of musicians that would delight the guests with their incredible music. For the men a skillful cigar roller awaited to roll a premium cigar to be enjoyed after dinner.

We had royal table seating for all the guests.  Each place setting had a place card to indicate where each guest would be seated.  As soon as all the guests were seated the Bride and Groom surprised them with a dance routine from Michael Jackson (silver glove and all).  These two can dance and they mesmorized their guests with their grace and talent.  As the Bride and Groom started their first dance world renowned Artist Live Painter and Performer Jared Emerson painted the couples first dance live.  He was finished by the time the song ended.  A spectacular oversized canvas will hang in this couple’s house as a treasured memory of their first dance. It is truly breathtaking.

The royal tables were lined with beautiful linens and decorated with enchanting crystal candelabras with long taper candles and mercury glass vases with bunches of babies breaths.  The tables were simply decorated but very elegant and lit with many candles to add the romantic and elegant look that the bride and groom wanted for their special day.

The guests were invited to savor and enjoy a prime filet mignon made to order with the couple’s branding on the actual steak.  This couple took the time to think of all the details that would make their guests feel truly special and welcomed.

The bride and groom love merenguitos and therefore, their cake was completely made of merenguito flowers from top to bottom.  This spectacular masterpiece was created by Todo Dulces.  A sumptuous and spectacular wedding cake!

Family and friends danced the night away along with the bride and groom.  Truly a beautiful and elegant wedding for this special couple.

A special thank you to all the vendors who made the magic happen.  They are; Archie Peña and his musicians, Biltmore Hotel, BNR Films, Emiliana Robert Giodano makeup and hair, Gables Linens, Haring Photography, Meilan Limousine, Nevot Flowers, Todo Dulces and Ubi’s Music and Lighting.  A special shoutout to my assistant for the evening Ms. Ashley Deoleo.
