Jerusha + Leo | Key West Wedding

Destination; Key West

Jerusha and Leo live in Orlando but wanted to celebrate their special day in Miami. They searched through the Wedding Mapper looking for a planner and came across our ad. Shortly after, I received a call from Jerusha asking if I would help her plan her wedding.  We hit it off right away and the planning process started immediately.

After a few weeks of looking for venues, Jerusha and Leo decided that Key West was more appropriate for them and their out of town guests.  They wanted a very relaxed, fun and elegant outdoor wedding.

The Key West Garden Club was contracted for their Ceremony and they rented the Old Town Manor for their wedding reception and for their out of town guests.  All family and friends would be staying in one same place.

The Garden Club is perfect for an intimate outdoor Ceremony.  They were married under a beautiful tree, close to the ocean.  Truly a beautiful setting.  Love In Bloom decorated the tree with strings of white hanging orchids.  Simple but elegant.

Jerusha’s color scheme was made up of saphire blue and esmerald greens.  The Old Town Manor served as the perfect setting for their wedding reception.  A steel drum player greeted the guests as they walked in for the cocktail reception and Croissants of France did an amazing job preparing delicious       hors d’oeuvres for the guests.

The reception area can be described as quaint, simple and elegant with a touch of nature.  The tables were lined with beautiful saphire blue fortuny linens, lovely white and green flower arrangements from Love In Bloom adorned the tables and we placed candles everywhere.  The trees above were decorated with string lights that added magical touch to a perfect evening.

Jerusha works with Klix Photography in Orlando and they drove to Key West to shoot the wedding.  They brought backdrops and props to create a fun and crazy photobooth.  Family, friends, my assistant and I included, had a great time posing for pictures with the fun props.

A great time was had by all. Jerusha and Leo could of not been happier to see their vision of their perfect wedding become a reality in front of their eyes.

I take this opportunity to thank them both for entrusting me with their special day.  I only met them in person once before the wedding day and throughout the entire planning process I felt that they both trusted me to carry out their vision.
